AT&T BusinessDirectReset Password  

 

To reset your password

  1. On the AT&T BusinessDirect® login page, click password under the Password field. The Forgot Password page appears.
  2. Enter your BusinessDirect username and email address.
  3. Click Submit. The Security Questions page appears.
  4. Answer the two security questions, and then click Continue.

The security question answers must be the same as the information in your user profile. Your profile will be locked after three unsuccessful attempts at answering these questions. If you’re locked out, contact your company administrator or your AT&T representative.


Chat Now

Chat Now provides an additional self-service tool for AT&T BusinessDirect®. The Chat Now tab is available on all BusinessDirect pages, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Eastern Time.

When a live agent is available, a blue Chat Now tab appears on the right side of the page.

To use Chat Now

  1. Click Chat Now to begin a chat session.
  2. Type your question, and then click Send. The agent will respond.
  3. Click Close Chat to end the session and close the chat window.

Chat Now Options

During a Chat Now session, you can use any of the options below.

PopOut Chat

·         Click Pop Out Chat during a session to open the chat session in a new browser window that is independent of BusinessDirect. This option allows you to continue the chat session after exiting a BusinessDirect application.

Minimize Chat

·         Click Minimize Chat to reduce the chat session to a small icon at the bottom of the page. Click Resume to restore the chat window.

Retain Chat Transcript

 

·         Click Email Transcript to send a copy of the chat session to your email account.

·         Click Print Transcript to print a copy of the chat transcript.

Note: If you want to email or print a transcript, you need to do so before you close the session.
